Before I helped business owners build better systems, I was the owner trying to manage every inquiry, follow-up, and booking while doing the work myself. Better Built Business Systems grew out of that experience.

I Started With $100 and a
Willingness to Work.
I started JD's Auto Detailing at 19 with my last $100 while I was a freshman at LSU, learning to serve customers, market my work, and run every part of the business. As it grew, I learned being good at the service was only one part. I also needed a reliable way to manage the opportunities coming in.
THE CHALLENGE
I Was Doing the Work - and Trying to Keep Up With Everything Around It.
While working on a customer's vehicle, I couldn't always stop to answer a call or new inquiry. After the job, there were still messages, quotes to follow up on, and customers to book. Without a connected system, too much depended on me remembering, and I knew I wasn't making the most of every lead.
